Tuhiata is a specialist organisation, providing social services and mental health and addiction services to whānau in Te Taitokerau. Our vision is to “acknowledge the aspirations of our Tupuna” and we aim to achieve this by reconnecting and building the capacity of our community and their whānau by providing a high-quality service that encourages and inspires change.

Our goal is to increase personal growth for whānau to strengthen their belief in themselves and their abilities to make changes around their mental well-being, emotional regulation, alcohol and drug use, relationships, and social connections.

All of our  services incorporate one-to-one counselling, group therapy, whānau hui, workshops and wrap-around whānau support.
